Meet the Team - Nicole McCarroll

 

Meet Nicole; she's our real estate guru when it comes to content creation. Nicole lives and breathes real estate, so it makes complete sense that she spends her days looking after our real estate clients. Whether it’s clean and sophisticated or modern and quirky, Nicole has an amazing ability to create on-brand content for each individual client, even proving real estate can be fun every now and then.

Nicole has worked in the real estate industry for 10 years as a Marketing Manager in NSW and Queensland, although it’s her Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design that send her posts soaring to the forefront of any social media scroller’s mind.

 Originally from Wagga Wagga in NSW, Nicole relocated to the Sunshine Coast in 2017; a move so perfect that her family followed her to the sunshine state shortly after (this possibly had something to do with the incredible Instagram photos she was posting).

Confidence in Nicole’s ability to deliver on the digital marketing front arrives momentarily following a short chat where you’ll become familiar with her level of skills, talent and knowledge that collaboratively see Nicole manage even the toughest projects with ease.

What's your favourite thing about working at April Ford?

We have such a great team here at April Ford. We have a lot of fun, but we also know how to get the work done. Not only do we have a great team in-house, but I also get to work with a fantastic group of real estate agents based on the Sunshine Coast, in Sydney and Melbourne.
Oh, and who could forget, Tuesday cake day here in the office!

What is it about the Real Estate industry that you have enjoyed most throughout your Career?

I love the fast-paced and ever-changing world of real estate. There is always something new and exciting happening. I love looking at the latest listings to hit the market, picturing myself living in that property!

What is your top tip for creating Real Estate content?

Posting unique content definitely receives the greatest reach in real estate posts. A unique property gets followers talking. Do something different to what your competitors are doing.

What do you love most about the Sunshine Coast?

I’ve been holidaying on the Sunshine Coast since I was a little girl, so when I moved here it instantly felt like home. Even though I have lived here for almost two years, I still feel there is still so much to see and explore. I love the climate and still pinch myself that I live so close to the beach.

 Where do you see social media/digital taking the Real Estate industry into the future?

We have already seen a shift from paper to digital, and I believe we will continue to see this shift.

The real estate industry is becoming even more data-driven, so we’ll see sophisticated algorithms being used to learn about people’s behaviours to predict trends before the individual even realises it.

It is going to be even more important to stand out in the digital world.
