June Wrap

Can you believe the first half of the year has already whizzed by? Where has the time gone!? In recognition of the halfway mark of 2019 we've hit pause for a moment to reminisce on the goals we set during the first quarter of the year.

Over the last six months, or 182 days to be OCD, weโ€™ve had SIX new team members join the April Ford team across four departments, two of whom commenced within the last 14 days (we're lookin' at you Amber and Georgie). Timing is everything, especially when it comes to hiring new team members and thankfully we've managed to successfully fulfill the challenge of aligning our staff levels with our evolving work flow and growth goals. ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿป

Looking back to January, we'll admit we had a few bumps to iron out due to fast growth but were able to discuss and implement opportunities to improve at our quarterly retreat. Fast forward to now and we've further streamlined our processes to achieve a boost in our productivity, ultimately reducing our somewhat endless to-do list.

With a stronger approach and a larger team, we were able to partner with more amazing clients across multiple industries, helping them to deliver on their marketing objectives through social media content and advertising management, project development, Google Ads, digital reputation management, strategic marketing advice, and so much more.

It's through these services that we were able to develop and delivered numerous Squarespace and Shopify websites, 18 videos, 50,000+ images, 1,200+ design graphics and brochures, 6,200+ content posts and a MASSIVE corporate strategy, absolutely smoking our client and project goals. Not to mention plenty of email marketing, blog writing and marketing management support also provided to our clients.

Gosh! Now, Iโ€™m no math whiz, but if you do some quick calculations, thatโ€™s a whole lot of growth. Now, it's time for us to pop on the kettle, make a tea and brace for the second half of 2019.

Whilst the foundations of what we do are based on what we love, itโ€™s the diversity of the clients we work with on a daily basis that keeps us ticking. ๐Ÿ’•

During June, the social content team welcomed two new clients looking to up their social media marketing game; Priceline Chancellor Park and Wenatex. Follow them online to watch their digital stories unfold.

We've also had a great first month for U-Haul Australia! Aside from consistently sharing high-quality pics and hash-tagging ourselves silly, the strategically cohesive aesthetic of U-Haul's social feed is smack-bang thanks to the work of Sophie, Sharna, Alex and Kieran. A consistent, one-of-a-kind feed that connects the brand's message with its audience to achieve ultimate engagement. Take a look at it now. ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿป

Searles Gardening Products and About The Garden hosted a very successful survey campaign. The results of their dynamic social media presence stretched far beyond the hundreds of likes and shares (although those are nice, too). With an 83.7% survey completion rate, they were able to gain free insight into customer satisfaction whilst collecting demographic information and important market research.

We can't forget about the most recent websites and projects executed by our projects team who have worked tirelessly around-the-clock to achieve online masterpieces that we're incredibly proud of.

And, then there's The Kotters. Bart is one of the most energetic and enthusiastic guys around town and Melissa is so sweet your heart will melt upon every interaction with her. We had a blast getting to know them well enough to inject their personable, approachable and lovable personalities into the design of their website and brochures. Launching soon!

Also joining the new client on-boarding family for projects this month we had Aqua Casa, Lloyd & Lloyd, and Things of Metal and Wood, just to name a few. We're over-the-moon to have you all on board!

Work-life turned busy for Kieran with over 15 photo shoots planned during June. An absolute stand out was at Big Kart Track, looking its best during the golden hour; you know, that wedge of time where the sun melts into a sky of orange, pink and purple hues.

The best way to kick into racing after dark! ๐ŸŒ™โœจ

We scored a sneak peak into some videos curated with Grace House Creative for Boston Shaker Bar. More of these concoctions to come.
